Urban Wood – Engineered Hardwood installation delivers warmth, durability, and premium aesthetic appeal. This project combined precise subfloor preparation, careful material handling, and expert installation techniques to ensure a flawless finish across all living spaces. From demolition to final cleanup, every stage was completed with accuracy to guarantee long-lasting performance and a refined interior look.
Installation Process
Our team completed the installation in two phases to minimize inconvenience and ensure precise workmanship.
First, all materials were delivered 48 hours in advance for proper acclimatization. We removed the existing hardwood flooring and underlayment, took off all baseboards and baseboard-heater covers, and carefully labelled each piece for reinstallation. Door casings were trimmed to accommodate the new flooring system.
The subfloor was inspected and levelled as required before installing the engineered hardwood T&G planks over Premium IXPE underlayment. Matching transitions and wooden trims were added to create clean and seamless room transitions. After installation, all baseboards and heater covers were reinstalled in their original positions, and the site was fully cleaned with proper disposal of all construction waste.
